Project Summary

Created and managed by Zemo Partnership, our pioneering new Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme helps fleet managers drive down their greenhouse gas emissions by guaranteeing they are purchasing the most sustainable low carbon fuel from only approved renewable fuel accredited suppliers.

Objectives

  • To manage the delivery of Zemo’s Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme
  • To promote the RFAS to the heavy duty vehicle community
  • To collate renewable fuel supply market data to help track the deployment of different liquid and gaseous renewable fuels.

Actions and Achievements

  • To manage the Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme (RFAS) including working with an independent auditor to undertake compliance audits, deal with new company applications and review compliance data.
  • To approve new renewable fuel suppliers/distributors under the RFAS by end March 2023.
  • Collate renewable fuels market data from RFAS.
