Zemo Partnership, in collaboration with Welsh Government, is again bringing the Moving to Zero programme to Wales with two focused, complementary events in early 2026 - each tackling a critical part of commercial transport's decarbonisation challenge.

Moving to Zero – West Wales

The Halliwell Centre, Carmarthen | 25 February 2026

The West Wales event focuses on the backbone of the economy: industrial haulage, utilities fleets, ports and long-haul logistics. With sessions on zero-emission HGVs and vans, retrofit pathways, coordinated infrastructure planning, and financing green freight corridors, this event is designed for organisations grappling with the hardest-to-abate transport emissions.

It will bring together fleet operators, ports, utilities, energy networks, financiers and policymakers to explore practical, investable solutions for decarbonising heavy and essential transport across Wales and the UK. (More information and registration link.)

Moving to Zero – South Wales

Techniquest, Cardiff | 26 March 2026

The Cardiff event shifts the focus to urban commercial transport, addressing the challenges cities face around congestion, air quality and last-mile delivery. The programme will explore electric vans, cargo e-bikes, micro-hubs and low-emission logistics models, alongside the city systems, planning and finance needed to support them.

With panels, a practical funding workshop, and an interactive session to shape consortium-ready projects, this event is aimed at urban fleet managers, local authorities, innovators and investors looking to turn ambition into delivery. (More information and registration link.)

Why attend?

Together, the two events offer a joined-up view of commercial transport decarbonisation - from heavy freight and utilities to urban fleets and last-mile logistics - connecting industry, government and finance around what works in the real world.

The events are part of an exciting two-year programme to accelerate the decarbonisation of the commercial vehicle sector and its supply chains in Wales. Welsh Government announced the appointment of Zemo Partnership to lead the initiative in late 2025.
