Takes you on a behind-the-scenes visit to Kent’s Fastrack - the award winning scheme providing key transport links in the Kent Thamesside area of the Thames Gateway project. It links the Bluewater Shopping Centre and Ebbsfleet International Station with local residential areas and the town centres of Dartford and Gravesend. It’s followed by our greening the bus workshop where we’ll separate fact from fiction in the rapidly developing world of cleaner fuels, discover ‘green’ driver training, and the many other elements of a modern business-like approach to carbon reduction. There'll be a series of short briefings from people in the know, with plenty of time for questions. Then there’s the not-to-be-missed conference drinks reception and dinner on the Tuesday evening, a great social occasion with excellent networking opportunities. Our guest speaker is Leon Daniels, Commercial Director of FirstGroup’s UK bus division.
