UK AWARE 2011

The fourth annual green consumer show, UK AWARE on March 25 and 26 will showcase the 'Green Machines Expo'. The show takes place at Olympia and will bring together 150 exhibitors, 15,000 visitors, and over 50 guest speakers. Exhibitors will be showcasing thousands of products and services ranging from cars to computers, from fashion to food and from travel to advice services.

 

Some of the key zones at UK AWARE 2011 will be:- 

- Green Machines Expo - the largest collection of low carbon vehicles
- Home and Lifestyle - green ideas for both inside and outside the home
- Energy - to see some of the innovative ways in which you can reduce your energy consumption
- Fashion - create you own ethical style
- Business - an oasis of solutions to make your business a sustainable champion
- Kids area: shows and interactive activities designed to inspire the next generation
- Workshop area: urban bee keeping, restyling your clothes, bike repair and maintenance.... plus much much more!

The Green Machines Expo exhibitors will include mainstream and specialised vehicle manufacturers, universities and private entusiasts working from home. Vehicles range from sub three second supercars to hyper-economical 90% efficient zero emission electric vehicles.

Seminar debates will be held to reflect each of the zones including on 25th March "The Future of Eco Transport. Are electric vehicle's going to win the race? What about other fuels and technologies?"
