UK Advanced Engineering 09 - Developing Partnerships in Innovation for Global Growth

This event, which takes place on 3rd and 4th February, has been created to highlight UK innovation, develop partnerships and enable UK Advanced Engineering companies to grow international business through R&D.

The first day will focus on low carbon vehicles and an invited audience of UK and Indian businesses will share expertise, explain the latest industry innovations and enjoy networking opportunities. Leading industry figures will give presentations and lead discussions on subjects including: 

- Near to market technologies 
-  Next step technologies 
-  Step change technologies 
-  Alternative fuels

The second day (4 February) will bring together elite advanced engineering businesses from across the world with a focus on advanced manufacturing, advanced materials, sensors & instrumentation and low carbon technologies. Included in the day will be: 

- Plenary addresses from senior government speakers 
- Interactive workshops on topics to include advanced materials, low-carbon automotive technology, advanced manufacturing and sensors and instrumentation
- Brokered One to One Meetings will be arranged with key international R&D decision-makers and potential partners.

There will be a networking dinner on 3rd February at the Milton Hill House Hotel which will include a keynote speech from Iain Gray, Chief Executive of the Technology Strategy Board.
