Next steps for intelligent mobility: autonomous vehicles, big data and the Modern Transport Bill

This seminar will assess opportunities for UK transport to integrate new technologies, utilise big data and the policy requirements for the integration of autonomous vehicles and transformation of transport systems.

Following the conclusion of evidence presented to the Science and Technology Committee’s Autonomous vehicles inquiry, the recent announcement in the Autumn Statement of £390 million investment in future transport technology, and with the Modern Transport Bill due to be introduced in early-2017 that will include further measures to increase investment in the next generation of transport, discussion is expected on next steps and implementation for innovative transport technology in the 21st Century.
