National Clean Air Day ('virtual event')

Description:

The UK's first National Clean Air Day will take place on 15 June and the organisers are urging individuals, groups, organisations and other stakeholders to get involved in a wide range of activities to help raise awareness of the facts about improving air quality.

Global Action Plan is working hard with partners across the country to deliver a range of activities with the support of key health institutions and charities such as Public Health England, the Royal College of Physicians, British Lung Foundation, and Great Ormond Street Hospital. 

National Clean Air Day aims to: 

• Reduce the amount of air pollution you create
• Talk and join forces to reduce pollution together
• Avoid harmful air pollution
