Recordings of three LowCVP webinars focusing on measures that can be taken to accelerate the shift in car buyer attitudes in favour of lower carbon cars are now available. The three webinars were intended to provoke a debate amongst stakeholders and to inform a scoping study to be prepared by the LowCVP on this topic.

The three topics addressed were:

Topic One – Fiscal measures for promoting behaviour change (23 April 2012)
Overview of UK tax instruments and their effectiveness – Matt Croucher, SMMT
Feebates and other instruments; commentary on most promising measures- Malcolm Fergusson, consultant
Influencing the grey fleet through ‘benefit in kind’ – Stewart White, Fleet Audits
