The LowCVP and Energy Saving Trust are running a webinar on Thursday 22nd November 1-2pm to give local authorities an overview of the recently published Low Emission Taxi Guide.
The Guide covers a range of national and policy measures to encourage the take up of low and ultra-low emission private hire vehicles and taxis.
The environmental, operational and financial credentials of a broad range of low emission vehicles and fuels for both black taxis and passenger cars are explained including:

battery electric
-
hybrid
-
hydrogen fuel cell
-
engine conversion to LPG.
Guidance is also provided on installing electric vehicle infrastructure and working in partnership with local stakeholders. A variety of case studies are presented in the Guide from companies such as Uber, Green Tomato Cars and local authorities such as Birmingham City Council, Nottingham City Council and Transport for London.
