The Low Emission Bus Workshop Leeds is taking place at the University of Leeds Business School on Tuesday 11th July. This free event is aimed at local authorities and bus operators who will learn about the prevailing low emission bus policy framework in the UK as well as the real world operational experience of low emission bus technologies and fuels in the UK.

The topics covered will include the Bus 18 initiative in the Leeds area, along with discussions around Clean Air Zones and retrofit of exhaust aftertreatment systems. Experiences of hybrid, biomethane and efficient diesel operation will also be included on the agenda.
 
Delegates will receive free copies of LowCVP’s Low Emission Bus Guide and there will also be a  Low Emission Bus on display; Optare's electric double deck bus the Metrodecker EV.
 
During the networking session, delegates will also have the chance to meet bus manufacturers and technology providers including: ADL, BAE Hybrid Systems, BYD, Scania, Eminox, Volvo, Green Urban, Vantage Power, Magtec, Optare, HJS, Argent Energy and Twintec Baumont.
