Description:

This one day seminar, organised by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) will enable delegates to get up to speed with advances in technology that could help high performance vehicles achieve carbon reductions. Speakers from McLaren, Lotus, Ford, Ricardo and others and will look at how advances in technology could help high performance vehicles achieve carbon reduction initiatives without affecting performance.

Attending will help delegates to:

     • Identify the impact of the application of new technologies and understand methods to mitigate the effects.

     • Study the potential causes of failure to meet performance, economy and driveability targets, reducing the amount of time on simulation and prototyping by focussing in on the known problem areas earlier in the design process.

     • Network with industry peers – engineers, technical specialists and experts from the world’s leading high performance vehicle manufacturers and specialists.

LowCVP members will be entitled to attend the event at IMechE member rates.

Full details of the event, including the agenda and delegate rates are available here.
