The Guardian UK Cleantech Summit, which will be held in London on 23 November will bring together the brightest and most innovative entrepreneurs, corporate representatives, policy makers and investors together to innovate, challenge and accelerate the growth of cleantech in the UK.

Cleantech carries the hope of a low-polluting and sustainable future and is attracting billions of dollars of investment worldwide. But despite the Government's setting of ambitious targets for greenhouse gas emissions reductions, the UK private investment community is still largely failing to provide risk capital to cleantech start-ups.
