The Low Carbon Vehicle Event - LCV - is run by Cenex, the UK's first centre of excellence for low carbon and fuel cell technologies. It is the UK's leading showcase of low carbon and low emission automotive and related technology.
LCV2017 is being run with assistance from supporting partners including the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, the Office for Low Emission Vehicles, the Department for International Trade, the Advanced Propulsion Centre, the Automotive Council, Innovate UK, the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Transport Systems Catapult.
Key decision makers from the UK industry attend the event with all major stakeholders, key manufacturers, supply chain representatives and government officials from the UK present. The event attracts a range of customers (Automotive 53%, Energy & Infrastructure 8%, Government & Local Authority 7%, Academia 8%) and senior managers including those at board level [38%] and middle management [27%].

Last year, LCV2016 set a new record attendance with 3,137 visitors, 226 exhibitors and 1180 organisations represented. This year’s event takes place on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th September 2017 at Millbrook and Cenex says that it's set to be the biggest and best year yet.Cenex-LCV is the place to meet UK decision makers and industry experts; the perfect opportunity to showcase your business, your industry and your technology.

Cenex-LCV has announced that keynote speakers at the event will include Konstanze Scharring, Policy Director of the Society for Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) and Graham Hoare, Chair of the Technology Group of the Automotive Council and Ford Motor Company’s Director of Global Vehicle Evaluation and Verification.
Other leading speakers include Simon Edmonds of Innovate UK, Ian Constance, the Chief Executive of Advanced Propulsion Systems UK and Natasha Robinson, Head of the UK Office of Low Emission Vehicle and the LowCVP Managing Director Andy Eastlake, who will join attendees in reflecting on the industry’s progress while identifying the technology, policy and market trends that will drive the future of low carbon transportation.
The LowCVP at LCV2017: The LowCVP will be collaborating with other UK government-affiliated agencies and funding bodies supporting UK motor and fuels industry innovation which are coming together once again to present a 'UK Pavilion', which will be a centrepiece of the show. Situated in the centre of Hall 3, the UK Pavilion will allow delegates to find out first-hand how the UK's unique innovation support ecosystem fits together, from academia and research support through to commercialisation. The Pavilion will showcase the Government’s commitment to innovation and growth in the UK automotive industry.
