IMechE has organised this one-day conference, to be held in London, to examine recent developments in the bus industry and analyse future trends in manufacture, safety, technology and low-carbon buses.

Recent advances in technology, as well as the need for greener and more efficient buses, have created a wealth of opportunities and challenges to those involved in the bus industry. Additionally, the need to expand London’s transport infrastructure ahead of the 2012 Olympics has also provided a catalyst to modernise and galvanise the wider bus industry.
