On 7 June, in Brussels, there will be a one day conference - 'A sustainable path for biofuels in the EU'. The event is organised by BirdLife International, the European Environmental Bureau, and the European Federation for Transport and Environment.
The event will cover topics including EU biofuels policy and biofuels' role in climate change mitigation.
Participants will hear from, and have the chance to question, experts in biofuels and sustainability from across Europe, including Paul Hodson of DG TREN and Hilkka Summa of DG AGRI. Malcolm Fergusson of T&E and Greg Archer, Director of the LowCVP will also speak.
