At Lunaz we take used vehicles and fully restore them to as new condition before converting them to a full battery electric powertrain. There are currently three limbs of the business: Lunaz Design that works with classic cars from the 1950s, 60s and 70s, Lunaz Applied Technologies that works with heavy commercial vehicles in Class 6 and 7 and Lunaz Powertrain that is able to sell the electric powertrain components developed and manufactured by the group to other vehicle converters and manufacturers. The Lunaz Group is currently small, but is growing very quickly and is funded by a group of young and environmentally focussed shareholders. We have a specific interest in developing a suitable regulatory environment for the conversion and upgrading of vehicles to modern electric powertrains, as there are currently very few rules and some intervention appears appropriate.
