Zemo Partnership will announce the membership of the independent Council for Net Zero Transport on June 6th at an event in Westminster. The first Quarterly Briefing of the Council will be streamed live to Zemo members.

The briefing, chaired by Lord Deben - former Environment Secretary and Chair of the Climate Change Committee - will announce members of the Council and outline its pivotal role in helping to forge a clear strategic direction for road transport decarbonisation and focusing the collaborative work of the Partnership.

The Council comprises senior stakeholders from government, industry, environment and academic sectors who will help steer UK transport’s decarbonisation transition as it moves into the crucial delivery phase.

Distinguished speakers at the event, representing a spectrum of leading stakeholder groups, will debate the key challenges and optimal pathways to the net zero transition in transport.
