Zemo Partnership's Chair, Philip Sellwood, has been appointed inaugural Chair of the Advisory Board of Zero Carbon Academy (ZCA) whose mission is to provide practical, actionable training and support to people in business who are leading the charge against climate change.

ZCA provides support to the many organisations which have a stated ambition to cut emissions and reduce their carbon footprint. Through the provision of training, information and community, ZCA aims to create an environment where those tasked with driving zero carbon change in their organisations can find the support they need.

Philip's new role at ZCA will in many aspects complement his ongoing position as Chair of Zemo Partnership. It should also help to enable opportunities for skills development of staff at Zemo member organisations.

Philip was Chief Executive of the Energy Saving Trust from 2003 to 2020. He is also Chair of the of the Board of Renewable Energy Assurance Ltd and a Non-Executive Director at the Local Government Innovation and Improvement Board. He was awarded a CBE in the 2020 Queens Honours List for services to public policy.
