The LowCVP is running a series of on-line seminars - 'webinars' - allowing members and others to hear from leading speakers and interact with other organisations without leaving the office. The LowCVP's new webinar technology allows up to 1000 people to take part in on-line conferences where they are able to see and hear presentations, take part in instant opinion surveys and engage in debate and questions. The next webinar (Mon 9 November) is on the Green Bus Fund and will be followed by an event focusing on consumer information, including labelling and advertising.

The upcoming webinars are:

Monday 9 November, 2-3pm: Applying to the Green Bus Fund (Click here for details and login) with Helen Pritchard, DfT and Neil Fulton, Millbrook. Chair: Jonathan Murray, LowCVP

Wed 2 December, 1-2pm (tbc): Consumer information, effective labelling and advertising trends with Graham Dixon, Director, GfK Automotive and Dr Jillian Anable, Senior Lecturer in Transport, Aberdeen University. Chair: Jonathan Murray, LowCVP.

Future webinar dates and speakers to be confirmed:

  • Cutting carbon from the van sector
  • The used car label - progress and plans
  • Reducing the greenhouse impact of the heavy goods vehicle sector
