The 'Sexy Green Motor Show' is to come to London on May 1-4, 2009. The Eden Project, founders of the show, has teamed up with the British International Motor Show organisers, International Motor Industry Events (imie), to showcase greener vehicles and technologies at the ExCel Centre in London's Docklands.

The London International 'Sexy Green Motor Show' will provide an opportunity for a wide range of exhibitors to show their latest environmental innovations and will include vehicles using alternative fuels, hybrids, stop/start and other low emission technologies.  The Show takes place at the same venue as this year's British International Motor Show.

The Show intends to present the best of the global industry's current and future automotive technologies, aiming to inform and entertain with a range of interactive features. It will welcome both consumer and corporate customers alike who will be informed about the latest low carbon - and low tax, low running cost - vehicles. There will also be opportunities to learn how to drive more responsibly and about other aspects of the push for lower carbon transport.

Further announcements will be made about the Show in January when tickets go on sale.

The LowCVP intends to hold its 2009 annual conference alongside the London International 'Sexy Green Motor Show' on Thursday April 30th. The event will provide conference delegates with an opportunity to preview the Show. (see related news link)
