Plugged-in Fleets initiative offers free analysis of EV introduction to fleets

The Energy Saving Trust launched a 'Plugged-in Fleets Initiative' under which it is inviting applications from fleets to receive free analysis to help businesses understand the potential benefits of electric vehicles specific to their own fleet.

Funded by TfL and the DfT twenty fleets will receive a review from EST's transport experts outlining where EVs can fit into their businesses. The outcome will be a better understanding for each fleet as to how to, and if they should, acquire EVs.

The application process is now open and will close on 16 April at 9am. For further details of the programme and information on how to apply click here.

Outcomes of the report and case studies will be widely shared and presented in a final report later this year. The Plugged-in Fleets Initiative will work with leading fleets to see more EVs on the road and share the lessons with the wider business audience.
