Zemo Partnership has two new colleagues in the secretariat team. Tim Griffen (left in picture) and Meziane Benmaamar will be supporting Zemo's work on buses and activities around the work of the Electric Vehicle Energy Taskforce.

Tim joins as a Graduate Project Officer supporting Dan Hayes and Zemo's Bus Working Group.  Tim’s first task will be helping with the delivery of an update to the Ultra-low Emission Bus Guide.  Tim has been working as a graduate engineer in the bus sector for eighteen months since graduating in September 2019. In his application for the job, Tim impressed with his enthusiasm for zero emission mobility solutions and for modal shift as a means to improve air quality and drive a transition to sustainable, active travel.

Meziane (Mez) will join Zemo on October 4 as a Graduate Project Officer supporting Alec Thomson and the work of the Electric Vehicle Energy Taskforce.  Mez's first task will be to review and update Zemo's understanding of the electric vehicle landscape in the UK.  Mez joins direct from the University of Oxford having completed an MSc degree in Energy Systems.

In his application, Mez said that his MSc “has spurred me to independently tackle diverse and multidisciplinary real-world challenges towards a clean energy future”.

Zemo secretariat colleagues are looking forward to working with both Tim and Mez to speed the zero emissions transition.
