The LowCVP Technology Bites series of webinars aims to raise awareness of emerging capabilities in the UK low carbon automotive supply chain. It does this by providing a platform for LowCVP members to promote their technology, product or service to the wider stakeholder community interested in low carbon vehicles and fuels. Three webinars have been scheduled to take place in October-November.
The first meeting in the latest LowCVP Technology Bites webinar series will take place on Wednesday, 10 October at 12:30pm BST. Featured this week are SusMobil and Inrekor. The webinar is chaired by the LowCVP and participants will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session.
SusMobil will represent a radical new concept in urban transport solutions, combining a fleet of zero-emission vehicles with a user-friendly charging infrastructure. Each ‘city-hub’ brings social and environmental benefits to the local area with improved personal mobility, reduced congestion, and local employment/training.
Inrekor technology changes the way that lightweight structures are designed and manufactured, combining globally-available, industry-standard materials with proven manufacturing processes to create remarkable, ultra-lightweight solutions. Fast, design flexibility and rapid prototyping provide near-immediate answers with low investment.
The second in the series of webinars features Powertrain Technologies Ltd on Wednesday, 24 October at 12:30pm BST. This is an experienced, multi-disciplined, design and development company with core background skills founded in some of the most demanding of environments. The company specialises in the supply of engineering and engineering design services throughout industry from small specialist companies to large multi-nationals.
The third webinar takes place on Wednesday, 7 November at 12:30pm BST. Featured this week are Dearman Engine Company Ltd and PI Innovo.
Dearman Engine Company Ltd owns a cutting edge novel zero emission engine technology that runs on liquid air or nitrogen. The engine can be used as a very high yield heat energy recovery system or as a stand-alone zero emission solution.
Pi Innovo is the expert partner for the design and development of innovative electronics systems to the automotive, transportation, defence, industrial, and aviation industries.
Each webinar is chaired by the LowCVP and participants will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session following the presentation(s). To sign up for any or all of these free webinars, please follow the associated links.
