The United States has signed up to the UK-sponsored Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) which has been established to stimulate international cooperation in the fields of low carbon energy sources and energy saving.
In return, the UK has joined the USA's Clean Energy Initiative.
