In this LowCVP webinar, held in collaboration with WhatCar?, Michael Hurwitz, Director of the Government's Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), and Steve Fowler, Editor-in-Chief, WhatCar?, will discuss the market prospects for electric cars in 2011. The discussion takes place shortly after the introduction of grants worth up to £5,000 towards the purchase of electric and hybrid cars and the arrival of high profile new models to the UK market. The LowCVP will be running a further webinar on electric vehicle recharging and the Plugged-in-Places initiative on Tuesday 22 Feb - more details to follow and on the website.

The event will be chaired by Greg Archer, the LowCVP Managing Director, and there will be an opportunity for verbal questions and answers and on-line debate. For those who are unable to attend at the scheduled time, the event will be recorded and made available to watch/listen again.
