The LowCVP has published a video to mark the organisation's Tenth Anniversary. Other video materials and resources surrounding the Partnership's Tenth Anniversary and Low Carbon Champions Awards - including keynote speeches and news releases - are now available on the LowCVP website. The LowCVP has received positive feedback in a survey about both events.

The seven-minute video produced to mark the anniversary received its first showing at the Anniversary/Awards celebration event on 29 January in Central London. It includes interviews with Transport Minister Norman Baker, Climate Change Commitee Chair Lord Deben (Rt Hon John Gummer) and leading representatives of the LowCVP's stakeholder communities. The video is viewable on the LowCVP website home page as well as the YouTube Channel.

As well as celebrating the achievements of the past - the colour-coded label; biofuels sustainability criteria; green bus introduction and others - the video also places road transport in a 'big picture' context and looks to prospects and strategies for the future.

In addition to Norman Baker and Lord Deben, the video also includes contributions from Graham Smith, Toyota; Prof Jim Skea of Imperial College (the LowCVP launch director in 2003); Prof Julia King, Aston University and the Committee on Climate Change; Konstanze Scharring, SMMT; Olly Macé, BP;  Doug Parr, Greenpeace; Mike Weston, Transport for London; Jon Hilton, Flybrid and the LowCVP Managing Director, Andy Eastlake.

The LowCVP has also published video recordings of the speeches by transport minister Norman Baker MP and Andy Eastlake, LowCVP MD, at the Tenth Anniversary Reception; and by Prof Jim Skea and Lord Deben at the Low Carbon Champions Awards which followed the Reception. (All are viewable on the LowCVP's YouTube Channel.) A transcript of Mr Baker's speech can be downloaded via the associated link.

Feedback collated from a survey sent to attendees at both the Anniversary and Champions Awards events found strongly positive responses from participants. 90% of delegates at the Anniversary Reception said the event was either 'Very Good' or 'Good' (the remaining 10% said 'Average'). 95% of people attending the Awards said the event was 'Very Good' or 'Good' (remainder said 'Average').

The LowCVP produced a number of news stories around the Anniversary and Champions Awards which have been picked up by over 150 media outlets nationally and internationally. These press releases included:
