LowCVP at the party conferences

Environment minister Elliot Morley, speaking at a LowCVP fringe meeting at the Labour Conference, said that financial drivers would be the key to the uptake of clean, low carbon vehicles. Mr Morley was speaking at a meeting - 'How should we fuel our cars for a lower carbon future' - which was co-organised by LowCVP and the UK Petroleum Industry Association.

LowCVP was actively represented on all the party conference fringes this year. In addition to the 'Green Vehicle Expo' in Brighton which was attended by two Secretaries of State, LowCVP co-organised meetings at each of the three conferences. The Partnership was also represented at the 'Green Groups Receptions' at each conference (This took the form of a dinner at the Conservatives conference.)
