Jonathan Murray has been appointed as the new Deputy Director of the LowCVP. His primary responsibilities will be to oversee and input into the work programmes of the Partnership.

Jonathan is a former Director of the Energy Saving Trust's transport programmes (formerly 'TransportEnergy'). Since 2003 he has been an independent consultant providing transport policy and strategy advice to clients including Vauxhall Motors, BAA and Capita Symonds. He has extensive experience of the automotive industry having worked for the Motor Industry Research Association and Total Oil, amongst others, in the sector.

Jonathan is currently completing a project for the DTI looking at the role of public procurement in encouraging the introduction of environmental vehicle technology.
