LowCVP annual conference - feedback

Fri 04 February 2005 View all news

Over 90% of delegates attending the LowCVP's annual conference, held on February 10th at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warwicks, described the overall event as either 'good' or 'very good'.

Around a quarter of the 300 delegates attending the event, timed to coincide the launch of the HMC's 'Green by Design' Exhibition, responded to an email survey conducted by the LowCVP Secretariat.

Respondents were particularly positive about the conference's morning sessions of and the temporary and permanent exhibitions of low carbon and cleaner technologies.

The conference venue and catering also received very positive reviews.

The afternoon workshop sessions, designed to provide feedback to the Government's Climate Change Consultation Review (see related story) received mainly favourable, though more variable, responses.

There was some criticism of the bus transfer arrangements (by hydrogen fuel cell bus from the local rail station) though over 50% of respondents were also positive about these.
