Launch event for Welsh Government collaboration with Zemo Partnership to decarbonise Wales' CV sector

Ken Skates MS, Cabinet Secretary for Transport in the Welsh Government will speak at the launch of Moving to Zero | Symud i Sero - the beginning of an ambitious two-year collaboration between Zemo Partnership and the Welsh Government to accelerate the decarbonisation of logistics and commercial vehicles in Wales.
The event - which will be free to delegates - will take place at Wrexham AFC on Friday November 21st (09:00 - 15:30). It will bring together key stakeholders - including fleet leaders, government representatives, distribution network operators and vehicle manufacturers - to share insights, strategies, and practical pathways to net zero.
From vans to HGVs, electricity to alternative fuels, the event will explore how we can drive the transition to a decarbonised freight sector in Wales.
Recognising that different fleets face different challenges, the event will explore a range of pathways to ensure every operator can find a route to decarbonisation. Topics will include:
Electrification: From vans to HGVs: what’s viable now and what’s coming next
Hydrogen: Opportunities, infrastructure, and use cases
Renewable fuels: Practical alternatives for fleets not yet ready to electrify
Policy & funding: Support available from the Welsh Government and other bodies
Real-world case studies: Hear from fleet operators already making the transition
