As the EV Energy Taskforce begins the final stages of preparing its findings to report back to the UK Government, it will be holding a series of regional workshops around the country to gain feedback on the emerging themes from the wider stakeholder community. Events will be held in Leeds (4 July) and Coventry (30 July).

The Electric Vehicle Energy Taskforce was created to make recommendations to government and industry on how to ensure the electricity network is ready and able to exploit the mass uptake of electric vehicles.

As the Taskforce begins the final stages of preparing its findings to report back to the UK Government, it will be holding a series of regional workshops around the country to gain feedback on the emerging themes from stakeholders.

The purpose of the all-day workshop is to share with the wider stakeholder community the emerging themes of the Taskforce; bringing together the findings of the separate work streams into the overall coherent set of recommendations to be made to government at the end of the process. There will be the opportunity to discuss, share views and provide feedback on the outputs of the individual work streams and the Taskforce as a whole.

Agenda includes:

  • Morning Session: Discussion around Work Package specific issues
  • Afternoon Session: Emerging taskforce recommendations
  • Networking Opportunity

Documents to provide background reading for the workshop, including draft recommendations, will be made available the week before to those that register to attend the stakeholder workshop.

Please register to attend at either:

Leeds - 4th July 2019

APC, Coventry - 30th July 2019
