Environmental transport events postponed or go digital as COVID-19 lock-down takes hold

Owing to the measures introduced by the Government in response to the spread of COVID-19 in the UK, many environmental transport events scheduled for the spring and early summer have been postponed or will now be held on-line. The LowCVP will maintain its member-focused collaboration activity and is preparing a series of digital spring/summer meetings, events and conferences. 

Postponed events include:

• ITT Hub, Farnborough. Originally scheduled 12-13 May 2020 now 12-13 May 2021. 
• EV World Congress, Bristol. Originally scheduled 29-30 April now 7-8 July 2020.
• EV Infrastructure Summit, London. Originally scheduled 25-26 March now 7-8 October 2020. 
• World Hydrogen Congress, Paris. Originally scheduled 24-25 March now 22-23 September 2020.
• UK AD & World Biogas Expo, Birmingham. Originally scheduled 1-2 July now 7-8 October 2020.
• The EV Event, Silverstone. Originally scheduled 22-23 April now 27-28 October 2020. 
• Fully Charged Live, Farnborough. Originally scheduled 1-3 May now 30 Oct-1 November 2020.

A number of events that were conceived as physical events have taken place in digital form, on-line. A number of other events are expected to take place in digital form during the spring and summer.

The LowCVP is currently in the process of appraising its spring/summer programme of meetings, workshops and events. We are currently planning that most of these, including the Partnership's annual conference in July, will go ahead on-line, avoiding the need for delegates to travel and meet while maximising the benefits and opportunities that a digital format can otherwise provide.
