LowCVP is calling for members and stakeholders to submit policy proposals to feature as part of the Partnership's Annual Conference online on July 15. Short (two-minute) videos will be screened to delegates (many civil servants and others involved in the policy process) at the event and through related channels. The Conference is entitled "RESET 2020: Driving the green recovery". Submissions should offer answers the question: How can we seize the opportunity for an investment-led green recovery in road transport?

As we seek to 'build back better' in emerging from the Covid-19 pandemic, the policy proposals will inform discussions around the Government's Transport Decarbonisation Plan which is due to be published this year as well as the planned phase-out of cars and vans with an internal combustion engine which is currently under consultation.

The LowCVP's Annual Conference has been a leading event in the environmental transport calendar for over 15 years, regularly attracting government ministers, key civil servants and senior representatives of industry, academia, governmental organisations, NGOs and others.

Organisations or individuals interested in submitting a proposal should initially send a short written message (150 words max) outlining their idea to the LowCVP Secretariat. LowCVP will work with the originators of selected proposals to create a short (two-minute) 'policy pitch' to be featured alongside other ideas at the event.

The LowCVP Annual Conference 2020 is free to delegates. Bookings are now being taken.
