Applications for funding support for late-stage demonstration projects now open

The Advanced Propulsion Centre has announced that applications are now open for the Collaborate and Demonstrate competitions. Collaborate supports late-stage R&D projects that are ready to bring zero emission innovation to market while Demonstrate offers a unique opportunity to rapidly develop a product or process demonstrator in under 12 months.
Both competitions are part of DRIVE35, the £4 billion funding programme driving progress in the UK towards a zero emission future. With a focus on innovation, scale up and transformation, DRIVE35 supports businesses across the supply chain, including those looking to increase manufacturing competitiveness and working on vehicle software.
Collaborate supports late-stage R&D projects that are ready to bring zero emission innovation to market. It’s an opportunity to lead or join a consortium delivering impactful solutions in vehicle technology. Match-funding of between £2.5 million to £25 million is available for successful applicants.
Demonstrate offers a unique opportunity to rapidly develop a product or process demonstrator in under 12 months, helping businesses to capitalise on market opportunities or enhance cost competitiveness. Grant funding between £500,000 and £1.5 million is available, with a minimum match funding requirement of 50%.
