APC seeking industry experts to help develop auto industry roadmaps

The Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) is looking for industry experts to help develop the 2020 Automotive Industry Technology Roadmaps. The survey - which builds on the 2017 Technology Roadmaps - closes for entries on 6 September.

This survey is being conducted by APC on behalf of the UK Automotive Council. Following significant societal, policy and regulatory changes, the APC seeks input from industry experts, on the following:
 
  • Feedback on the 2017 technology targets, their accuracy and usefulness to your business
  • Which technologies and performance targets your organisation is working towards
  • Your views on the "big technology debates" on low carbon transport technologies
  • Feedback on the roadmap technology time-lines
  • Significant R&D challenges that your organisation is aware of in propulsion technologies
The survey takes approximately 40 minutes to complete.
 
The closing date for entries is 6th September 2020.
 
The submissions will be collated and synthesised to inform the update to 2020 roadmaps. Further industry consultations and workshops will follow to finalise the updates before submission to the UK Automotive Council for final approval. APC expects the roadmaps to be published by December 2020.
