The Advanced Route to Market Demonstrator 2 (ARMD2) competition allows UK registered businesses to apply for a share of up to £10 million for late-stage R&D projects that help accelerate the UK towards a net zero automotive future.
The Advanced Propulsion Centre is looking for business-led late-stage R&D projects that will demonstrate advanced propulsion technologies. The output of these projects must be in the form of a physical or digital demonstrator. Applicants should clearly illustrate how their project will significantly accelerate technology development and must describe how the end-product will be brought to market.
The aim of this competition is to develop and demonstrate a capability that could lead to further business exploitation, utilising future net-zero propulsion technology as a key element in supporting the UK’s transition to zero emissions for the automotive sector.
Capability demonstration can be through a product, system or vehicle completed within 12 months, that can be operated or displayed at the Cenex LCV & CAM event in 2024, as a key element of showcasing the solution to a wider audience.
A recording of the applicant briefing webinar is available here.
The application deadline is 28 June.
