This session, titled 'Priorities for consumer engagement and local authority levers', will explore how policy, local delivery and engagement approaches can work together to accelerate the transition to zero-emission personal mobility. It will provide an opportunity for members and stakeholders to share insight, discuss current challenges and identify practical actions to support progress.

Agenda highlights include:

  • Government policy update from the Department from Transport

  • Zemo market monitoring update highlighting recent trends, data, and developments in the personal mobility market

  • Vicky Edmonds, CEO, EVA England – using key insights from EVA England’s recent Steer the Conversation Survey Report to highlight priorities for strengthening consumer engagement

  • Mark Gray-Smith, Regional Account Manager, Energy Saving Trust – drawing on practical experience of local programmes, funding mechanisms and engagement processes to explore the levers available to local authorities and what enables effective delivery.
