Description:

The Rushlight Show is a leading event for anyone involved in cleantech and sustainability. The event includes an innovation showcase; a transport energy breakfast seminar; sustainability solutions market panel and, under the title 'Resource', discussions with over 20 leading participants in the circular economy.

The event brings together cleantech developers and sustainable solution providers, with investors & financiers and businesses looking to source suppliers and partners for an improved level of sustainability in their supply chain and operations.

The event includes the following highlights:

  • Cleantech: 40 companies presenting in the Innovation Showcase of the Cleantech Conference, to be opened by Claire Perry, Minister of State for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (to be confirmed); over 100 cleantech companies presenting and in the Exhibition, including the Innovate UK Infrastructure Systems Showcase and the Rushlight Awards poster exhibition.
  • Transport Energy: Transport Energy Breakfast Seminar where the ramifications and options for the different fuels and power sources for low carbon transport will be reviewed and discussed by key representatives from the Department for Transport, electric vehicle charging, aviation, shipping and rail. 
  • Sustainability: Heads of sustainability and sustainable procurement participating; the Sustainability Solutions Market Panel with a range of leading sustainability professionals from corporates, including Nestle, Vinci, Whitbread, University of London and the NHS and the very latest market-ready sustainable solutions.
  • Resource: over 20 leading participants in the circular economy, including Sandy Martin, Shadow Minister for Waste & Recycling and David Warren, Head of Circular Economy Economic Policy, Welsh Government.

The Show comprises:

1. An Exhibition of over 100 of the latest innovations in cleantech, including a number of entrants to the Rushlight Awards and the Innovate UK Infrastructure Systems Showcase.

2. The Cleantech Conference, including the Innovation Showcase of some 40 companies presenting their cutting edge new technologies, with input from BEIS and Innovate UK, and the Sustainable Solutions Market Panel, where cleantech companies present their market-ready products and services directly to a panel of leading sustainability and procurement representatives.

3.The Resourceful Conference, in association with LCRN and the Circular Economy Club, which highlights some of the main innovations and looks at the progress and key issues in rolling out the circular economy.

4. UK Transport Energy breakfast seminar, which takes a close look at the electric vehicle charging network ramifications, hydrogen and biofuels across road transport, rail, shipping and aviation.

5. A cooked breakfast, lunch and networking opportunities throughout the day.

The Rushlight Awards Party follows after the Show.

The event is sponsored by Innovate UK, BEIS, Flanders Investment & Trade, Carbon Limiting Technologies, Granted Consultancy, Venner Shipley, Everoze, Prova PR and Climate-KIC, it is now in its 10th year and is expected to attract over 500 cleantech CEOs and entrepreneurs, investors and financiers, advisers, corporate customers and others involved in the sector.
