A joint PRASEG* and LowCVP event. 

Chaired by Alan Whitehead MP, PRASEG and introduced by Greg Archer, Low CVP Director

This seminar will discuss recent developments in policy relating to electric vehicles and progress in their introduction. The speakers will discuss, from their different perspectives, the steps needed to take electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles from niche applications to more mainstream use.

Speakers:

- Chris Pascall, Head of Transport, EDF - will provide the view of an electricity supplier, addressing infrastructure and supply challenges

- Kevin Austin, Head of Transport, Greater London Authority – will give an overview of what London is doing to speed the introduction of EVs and what can be done at local or regional level to encourage their uptake.

- Thierry Koskas, Electric Vehicle Project Manager, Renault – will give a vehicle manufacturer perspective, on how to build market share for EVs. Renault-Nissan has been a leading partner in the Better Place initiative which is introducing EVs and recharging facilities in many parts of the World.
