Education and technology are close to the core of the project and working in partnership with Oxford Brookes University, The University of Oxford, Gloucestershire University and Gloucestershire College we will incorporate a number of sessions that look at engineering as a life career choice.

The event is intended to provide an exciting and engaging experience for members of the public and an event to develop and encourage business-to-business relationships. We will also have the paddock area which will showcase electric vehilces:

Free to visit - a wide range of cutting edge, low-carbon vehicles that are forging thefuture of sustainable motorsport and transport.Throughout the weekend there will also be the opportunity to see these vehicles in action on the proposed Street Race Circuit.

We will also be showing two films at the Daffodil which people will be able to watch the film and have brunch or tea. The two films are:

Who Killed the Electric Car? 11.00 - 1:30.
A fascinating documentary exploring the creation, limited commercialization,and subsequent destruction of the battery electric vehicle in the USA.Intro, speakers and brunch.

The Revenge Of The Electric Car 14:30 - 16:30
Revenge is a must-see movie for anyone interested in cars.

The Sustainable Moto Expo is working towards a Sustainable street race in 2013.The Sustainable Street Race 2013 will close the full race circuit and introduce competitive entries for the circuit that will measure sustainability criteria being developed with Oxford University and the University of Oxford Brookes, awarding prizes to the winners of categories such as lowest fuel consumption, best driving efficiency, full carbon lifecycle of vehicle and full carbon lifecycle of team.
