Investing in Future Transport is a high-level conference covering innovation and investment opportunities in the transport sector. The conference is organised by Revolve and Cleantech Investor and is supported by the Mayor of London and chaired by journalist and TV presenter, Quentin Willson. A key focus of Investing in Future Transport will be innovation in engineering. The FUTURE ENGINEERING session will focus on innovations in engineering technology to improve the efficiency of vehicles and fuel economy and pave the way towards lower carbon transportion in the form of new technologies such as battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs).

The conference will also focus upon FUTURE FUELS covering innovations in renewable fuels, including advanced biofuels; improvements in the efficiency of internal combustion and diesel engines from a fuel perspective; and other advanced fuels. Expert speakers will discuss the role of investment by the oil majors in the renewable/advanced fuels space - and look at future jet fuels and shipping fuels, as well as fuel for road transport.

Investing in Future Transport will also address innovation in fields including EV charging technology and advanced telematics.

Other sessions will include FUTURE MARKETS (looking at opportunities in the 'BRIC' economies and fast growth Asian markets); CITY TRANSPORT & INFRASTRUCTURE and INTELLIGENT VEHICLES AND TELEMATICS. There will also be a special focus on the role of motor sport in promoting 'eco' innovation in the transport industry.

The rally will start at Museum of the History of Science in Oxford with a provisional finish line of Waterloo Place in the centre of London.
