Zemo is hosting its first Zero Emission Bus Workshop of 2022 with London’s sole operator of hydrogen buses, Metroline, including a visit to the company's Perivale site in West London.

Physical spaces are limited so please register your interest via Eventbrite and we will notify you two weeks in advance of your place. The event will also be streamed live online. In the case that we are oversubscribed we will limit attendance to one person per orgnaisation.

The event will be supported by vehicle manufacturer Wrightbus along with fuel-cell developer Ballard and hydrogen supplier Ryze.

Zemo will be streaming the event via Microsoft Teams for those unable to attend in person. A link will be shared with members ahead of the event.

There are many changes that come from transitioning to zero emission bus technologies affecting bus operations, training & skills and energy management. Rolling out hydrogen vehicles present separate challenges to those presented by battery electric vehicles. Much of this transition can be managed by working with suppliers on key areas including route analysis, hydrogen supply with on-site storage and refuelling, alongside depot & maintenance facility upgrades.

This workshop will focus on the challenges that Metroline has faced and how the project partners have supported them in rolling out 20 hydrogen buses and on-site refueling infrastructure at Perivale, the first of its kind in the London area.

The site visit is limited to 60 attendees. Please register your interest for the site visit as well as physical attendance to the presentation and discussion session.
