Description:

This one-day event for businesses with vehicle fleet operations will provide an opportunity to learn more about the Government’s plans for removing combustion engines from the roads by 2040, and about the introduction of Clean Air Zones across the UK. It will cover how Local Authorities, such as Bristol, are developing their own Clean Air Action Plans.

Vehicle manufacturers will share advances in the vehicles they are making and what is coming in the future. Energy and infrastructure experts will offer practical advice, applications and support on how to implement alternatively fuelled vehicles (AFV's). You will hear how Bristol's proposed Clean Air Action Plan aims to tackle air pollution. Plus, how it relates to policy and infrastructure, and the revisions they think will be necessary.

ALD Automotive and University of the West of England (UWE) will share their findings from a year-long research project that demonstrates how the proposed Clean Air Zones could impact business drivers travelling in and out of the city. Every UK city facing Clean Air Zones in the next 3 years will be able to apply this research to their own region.
This event is a must for those who operate vehicles in and out of a proposed Clean Air Zone and are concerned about the potential costs. You will come away with the information that will help you understand and prepare for these proposed changes.

The Energy Saving Trust (EST) and Lombard Vehicle Solutions (LVS) will be providing information on how they can support you in these areas. You will come away with information that will help you understand these changes, as well as how to plan and make provisions for them.

You will get the chance to ask, in a moderated environment, questions of all the presents to help your understanding of the topics. Learn with your colleagues about how these changes will impact you, your business and your employees.
