Description:

Michelin's 11th Challenge Bibendum will take place at Berlin's Airport Tempelhof on 18-22 May 2011. The event will showcase a large exhibition of low carbon vehicles, fuels and related technologies. 4,000 stakeholders are expected to attend the event including representatives of governments, universities, NGOs and the vehicle industry.

The global tire manufacturer Michelin, which is organising the event, expects around 120 vehicles will take part. Many of the vehicles will be prototypes, covering all areas of environmentally friendly vehicles: electric city bikes, passenger cars, trucks and buses.

Participants will have the opportunity to ride and drive these vehicles while many of the development engineers will also be present. The event will also feature round-tables and conferences, attended by international experts.

Those wishing to participate as either potential conference speakers, contributors to workshops, exhibitors or to demonstrate low carbon vehicles (2 wheel, car, van, truck or bus) for the ride and drive should contact Peter Snelling, Head of Communications:  peter.snelling@uk.michelin.com
