DHL is one of the largest operators in the UK, with extensive operations on the road and in aviation, with interests in maritime. DHL has been investing in low carbon and zero carbon technologies to reduce its emissions and reach net zero by 2050. As part of this DHL Express is in the process of electrifying it's Pick up and Delivery (PUD) fleet, with over 450 electric vans now in operation.
DHL Supply Chain is investing heavily in transitional fuels such as Bio-LNG & CNG as well as HVO. Supply Chain has also invested in a few electric HGVs to gauge the current capabilities of the technology.
