Description:
As part of LowCVP's Zero Emission Fleet series focusing on experiences of depot and fleet electrification, LowCVP will host a workshop in partnership with UPS in North London.
UPS has electrified half of the company's fleet of delivery vans at Kentish Town in North London, with further plans for a fully zero emission fleet of 170 electrified vehicles. In order to achieve this target they have worked in partnership with UKPNS and Off Grid Energy to deploy smart charging and on-site battery storage to prevent the need for further upgrades to the electrical supply to the depot.
This partnership approach will be key in the future to ensuring the transition to zero emission is as cost effective as possible.
