Sustainable Energy Action are holding a one-day conference - "Alternative Fuels - A Practical Guide for Fleet Managers" - on 6 July at Jury's Hotel, Great Russell St, London SW1.
The conference aims to provide practical information on vehicle and fuel procurement. It will include advice on accessing government grants, the reliability and appropriateness of fuel use, and will also cover aspects of congestion charging and other legal and financial issues.
The conference is sponsored by Transport for London and will provide a forum for disseminating results of a recent survey covering all the London Boroughs' fleets by the Association of London Government (ALG). It aims to offer advice to London fleets to help them take the best pathways to low carbon transport and enabling local air quality improvements.
