Applied Emissions Ltd. is a new business specializing in the precise measurement of real world emissions from internal combustion engines. Using latest generation of Portable Emissions Measurement Systems, (PEMS) and in-house expertise, measurement of emissions from Light & heavy duty vehicles, stationary engines such as generators, trains & boats can be made. Accurate measurement of carbon emissions from different technologies is necessary to understand the improvements which can be obtained through use low carbon automotive technologies, vehicles or fuels.

Applied Emissions has recently achieved VCA accreditation for testing to the latest standards of European RDE legislation for light duty vehicles. In the light of the urgent number of technologies that require testing, the available resource and the resultant waiting lists, our activities encourage and enable more emerging companies to contribute to a lower carbon future.
