Zemo is very pleased to unveil Trojan Energy as the first sponsor of the Partnership's Parliamentary Reception on 1 November. The event will be an opportunity to recognise new members of the Partnership (joining since the pandemic-induced lockdowns) and celebrate the opportunity to return to physical networking events.

Zemo's autumn Parliamentary Reception will take place in the Cholmondeley Room in the House of Lords. The event (for Zemo members only) will be fully subscribed. (Representatives of member organisations who have not yet registered their interest in attending can still do so here.)  Over twenty MPs have already indicated their interest in attending including three former Government ministers and two current shadow ministers.

Trojan Energy  Trojan Energy joined Zemo Partnership in 2021 to engage in the Zemo-facilitated EV Energy Taskforce activity and help develop collaborative policy solutions as well as to introduce the company’s innovative chargepoint solution to a broad audience through Zemo’s networks.

Trojan’s Mark Constable, Head of Business Development, said: “Being a member of Zemo is important to us as our innovative solutions disrupt some of the established orthodoxies in EV charging, so being at the heart of the policy discussion helps us to learn as well as put our own views across.”

Trojan Energy was formed in 2016 with one mission: to ensure everyone benefits from the energy transition. With total focus on enabling the switch to eMobility, the company has developed the Trojan Electric Vehicle Charging System.

Trojan offers a system that:

  • finally offers an equal chance for EV drivers without a driveway to charge effectively at home, while eliminating residual clutter on the pavement (see image above).
  • doesn't require municipal authorities to zone off parking spaces and gives network operators the ability to manage power demand in real time.
  • is smart enough to offer a convenient way to charge that's greener, cheaper, more immediate - or a combination of all three - at up to 22kW.
  • delivers flat and flush chargepoints in hubs of up to fifteen, or single units powered by the home, to leave the streetscape uncluttered for everyone.

Trojan Energy wants to give drivers the confidence, convenience and practicality they need to go electric.

There are still opportunities for other members of Zemo to support the Parliamentary Reception. For more details, contact the Zemo Secretariat.
